How do you stop a horse from running through a line?
I’ve been working with a new horse at the barn, and he has a tendency to rush through lines at hyper-speed. He’s okay going into them, maybe a bit cheeky, but then he takes off after landing the first jump.
I always sit deep and try to rein him in, but he runs through my hands.
Any advice?
How do you get a horse to quit bucking?
My horse bucks almost everytime I ride him now. I have tried changing bits and saddles. I have tried using snaffle and curb bits. He has bucked with a bridle and without and with a saddle and bareback. He has bucked in walk, trot, canter and gallop. If he is going faster than a trot when he bucks I cant get him to stop running. I haven’t been riding very long so I am not that good of a rider. Is there anything else I can try? And why would he be doing it? He has never done it before and I have had him at least a year.
Well I only weigh about 117 pounds so I dont think I’m too big for him. He’s been gelded. I dont have money to take him to a trainer. He is normally really sweet but when he bucks he lays back his ears.
My horse Trigger is a 12 year old quarter horse gelding.

I tried grooming her without tieing her up but that didn’t work. I tied her hulter to the fence and that isn’t working. Any help would be great I am running out of ideas. What is the best food for an Arabian horse preparing for an endurance race.?
Hello. I am planning on running the 25 mi Malibu endurance race. I was wondering what brand of electrolytes (AccuLytes, Apple-A-Day,Exer-Lyte, Quench, ect) is best for this purpose. I was also wondering if anyone knew any other tips on nutrition and care to prepare for the race. My horse is a bit older, so I want to make sure he is healthy and ready. Thanks!
