My mom and I share a horse and she rides western and my saddle broke and need to ride english with a western saddle because i have a lesson. ! HELP!! PLEASE!!!

My mom just got a new horse. She’s sort of a timid rider and he’s super bombproof so they’re perfect for each other. For christmas I want to get her a picture frame with their names on the top and a quote along the bottom. So I am trying to find a quote that can express how compatible they are and how he has enough confidence for both of them. Thanks in advance for the help!

Ok, im 13 years old and me and my twin sister have been begging for a horse since we were just toddlers. My mom finally got tired of us nagging about how much we wanted a horse and she said she would build a barn in our 2 acre field in september and get us 2 horses. I have gone riding before and cared for horses and all but i want to be the best horse owner i can be so what are some good tips and stuff for caring for your horse?

I’m picking out my first horse in two weeks. I’ve ridden before with other friends horse but all we do is ride around the pasture. And my mom said if i have my own horse i could do dressage and hunter/jumping.

I have been taking riding lessons for a while. There are two of my favorite horses avalible to show, but that would mean instead of riding once a week, it would be three times a week. We would also need to pay part boarding for it, it would be like getting a free horse, then boarding it. I want to show horses, and it would cost money but it would be like having my own horse. Just only half mine, my aunt is willing to help pay, and im willing to get a job doing papers.

How do I convince her to let me do this?

I just got a 2 yr old horse from a rescue. He is a calm horse that doesn’t worry about life. His whole life he has been a pasture horse. My mom and me want to board him at a stable. I am worried he may get stressed out and not enjoy being a stable horse. I am also worried he may start to be a aggressive horse because of the change. How do you think he may react to the big move?

Since i was little i’ve always wanted a horse. My parents always said no, because we never had the money or place to keep it. We now live in the country and my mom said i might be able to get one! I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a breed. I want a horse that is calm and just for riding. I usually ride with an english saddle. I also have taken lessons on riding and horse care.

I have found a wonderful horse. My parents say that they know I am responsible, mature, and committed to owning a horse. Mom had said that she wanted to lease a horse first, so I get to bond with the horse and to see if the horse and I connect. Now she says we aren’t going to, and she won’t tell me why. She and dad said that we can afford a horse, and everything, but she still won’t give. I have tons of horse experience- riding, training, and vet care. I have found an amazing place to board a horse, where we have to pay almost nothing- I just work off most of the board. I am getting certified in trimming and shoeing, so that gets rid of another cost. All my parents have to pay for is the initial cost of the horse which they said they could handle. Please help me!
