I guess if I sat in a car going excessive speeds on Interstate 55 (which of course I never do) or sit on top of a horse moving at 40 mph, that would make me an athlete too huh?

I am trying to train for extreme cowboy racing, I need all the rules guidelines and everything to tell me how to train me and my horse. I would appreciate if you give me links and everything to help me start training for extreme cowboy racing. I need beginner obstacles and everything.

Is the horse racing program different from the harness racing program? IF you can find a link for me that would really help.

I know an old man that wants to go in on a group of people to buy a horse, like a horse racing horse. He asked me to "go on the internet" and find where he can do this. I can’t figure out where to do this, or who to do it with or from. Anyone have any ideas!?!?!?!?

Ok, I mostly do trifectas but never win. I don’t like picking favorites because of the money won sucks. What bets do you experts pick as far as tri,tri box, exacta, quin, etc. Sometimes I’ll take a longshot across the board but rarely pans out. Alos how do you determine your picks? Obviously the odds are pretty accurate, but I’d like to actually like to some cash. I frequent a small horse racing venue(paire meadows) and alot of unproven horses race there. Somebody gimme some tips please, I know some of ya’ll are proven winners…but your probably at the track winning right now(sigh). Thanks

I’ve always wondered. It seems that most of the skill would lie with the horse, since its the one doing the racing. But obviously the jockey must be trained as well. Can someone tell me exactly what role the jockey plays?

I was curious with all the talk about horse racing, how does a horse owner make money specifically related to racing? Is it through racing fees, -that is to allow the horse to race which in turns attracts bettors etc?

I purchased a ticket at Tampa Bay downs. The Horse i bet won how long do i have to cash in the ticket before it goes void?
