It’s completely un ethical…..ive read numerous articles where they’re like "it was only a minor shin splint" is’nt this obviously caused by the trainer exhausting it..? and then after barbaro’s ankle shattered? how has this not been addressed? does anyone agree with me? i can’t belive no one’s fighting to ban horse racing.

Its carolina cup in camden south carolina. I am a male and will be wearing a suit. Anyone familiar with horse racing attire?

Everyone wears a suit. Carolina cup is the frattiest event in the South East.
Shirt and tie is required to get in, they even have local african americans to act as our servants.
So I need a hat to compliment brown pants, white shirt, and a goldish white sport coat.

I’m doing a research paper on the Jazz age and i picked horse racing. I checked out books on it but it doesn’t seem to explain how horse racing affected the jazz age. Little help please?

My friend said there are more ways to predict the winner in horse racing, but he don’t know how.

I keep thinking, a 160 pound man can have an excellent race horse and be an expert rider, but with the weight disadvantage he can’t fairly compete with the 80 pound jockey.

So how come they haven’t introduced different weight classes for horse racing?

Just wondering.. I seem to have a lot more consistent ‘luck’ winning money on horse or dog racing than when I’m playing ANY game at the casino.. What your experience? Thanks

I am writing an article about life in 19th century Poland. This type of riding is for necessity, not horse racing.

I wanted to see what my 15.0 hand quarter horse could do on the track so i got him in shape and clocked him at 1:32 sec for 6 furlongs. He has had no training really and he’s just a roping horse but is that slow in horse racing terms?
