I am hoping to buy a horse, and I am an intermediate rider. I can walk, trot, and canter, on most horses. I ride english, and I am a pretty steady rider. Any suggestions?

Ok, I just joined this horse camp thing and it got me really excited about owning a horse someday. So I was wondering how much it would cost to buy a horse. I would like to maybe even buy a throughbred already trained, or maybe a stallion, but how much would it cost to buy and take care of. I don’t care about getting into the racing business.

I know an old man that wants to go in on a group of people to buy a horse, like a horse racing horse. He asked me to "go on the internet" and find where he can do this. I can’t figure out where to do this, or who to do it with or from. Anyone have any ideas!?!?!?!?

I love horses and have forever i have been riding for 4 years and have wanted a horse.. now that im almost old enough to drive i want to take the next step and get a horse. money is not the problem it the fact that my parents dont think im dedecated enough and they just dont want to buy a horse. what can i do to convince them of my love of horses and how much i realy want one and the benifits of riding?
