How to care and look after a horse?

What percentage of grains, horse feed, hay, and grass should be in the diet? How often do I need to float the teeth? How often should I worm? How often should I pick the hooves? Well congratulations, but horse ownership is a lot to explain. You should not have a horse if you do not already no these things. The diet depends on the size, breed, and the amount of exercise the horse is getting. My horse is a throughbred she eats 1 and half scoops sweet feed, and 2 flakes hay twice a day and goes out for about 7 hours. She works with me about 3 times a week. Your vet can help advice for feeding. Floating is done once or twice a year. Worming is every 4 months but depends…Can be everyday if on the supplement or twice a month.
